I have been a long time smoker of white owl cigars and recently have been online to see if I could find them for less than what I get them for locally. Just by searching, I came across many reviews of the White Owl Cigars that just tore the brand apart. I may not be a cigar snob, but I think that many of these people are over reacting. My favorite is the Ranger, which is a longer machine made cigar, I think the ring size is 6 x 34. It has a natural tobacco flavor, with mixed fillers and is a very mild cigar. I typically smoke about 3-4 cigars a day, so I don’t want to spend the money on premium cigars, for many reasons. Premium cigars tend to be a bit to strong for me, they take forever just to finish one, and they are ridiculously expensive. Call me cheap, but when you smoke so many a day, the cost of getting premium cigars would be out of my budget. I have never come across any problems with the boxes I have bought. They are always fresh and a great everyday smoke. I have read many reviews on the other flavors of the White Owl Cigars, like pineapple and grape, and all of them are negative. It may just be that the cigar is flavored in the first place. When I was young, I adventured out to flavored cigars, but they never were as good as a plain tobacco flavored cigar. I am not a big fan of sweets, so I have stayed away from the grapes and pineapples since then. I will continue to smoke my White Owl Cigars on a daily basis, and I recommend them to anyone who wants a mild, everyday smoke.
